British Romanian Wedding Fusion at Mogosoaia Palace

Hi and welcome to an awesome British-Romanian wedding combo! Simona and Michael’s destination wedding was by far an example of two wonderful people willing to go the extra mile for each other. They met, fell in love and live in London, and they organised the wedding in Bucharest – Romania, Simona’s hometown.

Our wedding venue was Mogosoaia Palace and the ceremony was held in a beautiful garden full of flowers. The weather was incredibly hot, but luckily we chilled with some drinks afterwards! The reception continued in a gorgeous tent next to a lake, adding to the romance floating in the air.

A truly incredible day full of emotion

As a surprise, Michael’s speech had two versions: a Romanian one which he practised and delivered nicely and an English one, both full of emotion. Whoever says no tear was shed is a liar, as even for me it was really hard to hold it together behind the camera.

The night continued with games, magic shows, live music, traditional Romanian dancing and crazy partying! It was truly a pleasure to be a part of this beautiful destination wedding and you can see why from the photos below 🙂
