A Day Full of Love starting at Brighton Town Hall and ending at OhSo Social and Tempest
When Mim and Fin decided to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted their day to be a true reflection of who they are—laid-back, full of fun, and with plenty of seaside vibes. And where better to do that than Brighton? With its quirky charm and urban vibrant energy, this city was the perfect backdrop for a cool wedding that was anything but ordinary.
Saying “I Do” at Brighton Town Hall
The day kicked off at Brighton Town Hall, where Mim and Fin exchanged their personalised vows.
“We personalised our vows and it was one of the best decisions we made. It felt very special to make our own promises to each other on the day and it proved very emotional for us and our guests with not a dry eye in the house. Our cousin and sister also completed a personalised poem to read out which I can’t wait to print and put on the wall as a memory.” Mim and Fin
The ceremony was sweet and personal, with just the right amount of tears and laughter. The moment they were pronounced married, the room erupted in cheers—this was going to be a day to remember!
Beachside Drinks at OhSo Social
With the ceremony out of the way, it was time for some seaside fun in the sun. Everyone headed down to OhSo Social, a super cool beachfront bar with killer views of the sea and Brighton Pier. The vibe was relaxed and easygoing, just like Mim and Fin wanted.
Cocktails in hand, guests mingled, laughed, and soaked up the sun while the happy couple made the most of their seaside venue with cool portraits by the beach. It was one of those perfect Brighton days, with the sun shining and the sea breeze keeping everyone refreshed.
“Fin was born in Brighton and his family grew up there before moving to Kent. Mim also completed her masters at Brighton university and therefore it has always held a special place in our hearts. We have had many fond memories over the years on Brighton beach and therefore it was an easy decision to want to recreate this for our big day.” Mim and Fin
Partying Under the Arches at Tempest
As the sun started to set, it was time to get the party started. We all headed to Tempest, one of Brighton’s coolest spots, tucked under the arches right on the seafront. Tempest is all about that underground vibe, with a mix of quirky decor and a dance floor ready for action.
And let’s just say, this party did not disappoint. Mim and Fin’s friends and family knew how to let loose, and the dance floor was packed all night long.
“We had a singer called Kelly Barnes who was fabulous and performed as the guests arrived at the Tempest and then later in the evening we had ‘stick it on’ who are a company that you work with prior to the day and put together a bespoke set list. Your guests choose a DJ name and 3 songs they want to mix and with a little help on the night our guests became superstar DJs for the night! It was so interactive and fun – I would highly recommend it and was definitely a huge hit!”
From the heartfelt ceremony at Brighton Town Hall to the sun-soaked drinks at OhSo Social, and the wild party at Tempest, Mim and Fin’s wedding was the perfect blend of love, laughter, and laid-back seaside fun. It was a day that truly captured the essence of Brighton and, more importantly, the essence of Mim and Fin—a couple who know how to have a good time and make everyone around them feel like part of the party.
