Fun Fabrica Wedding in Brighton

An amazing Fabrica Brighton wedding day starting with a swim in the sea, Ceremony at Brighton Town Hall, and one incredible party

Grace and John were both living in Amsterdam when they first contacted me so we waited a few months before we met in person for a drink in Brighton. It was lovely to get to know them and hear more about what they were planning: a chilled day, focused on having fun with their family and friends, and doing things a bit differently. For example the girls started the morning with a swim in the sea, since a healthy lifestyle is something important to Grace. I always think it’s really cool to bring your personality into your wedding day.

The Brighton Town Hall Ceremony was beautiful, full of emotion, excitement and lovely tearful readings by friends. Afterwards we made our way to Fabrica – an amazing wedding venue in the heart of Brighton that I dreamt of photographing. The venue is magical – it has such character and the staff is super friendly, specially lovely Elin! You can read more about the venue in my article – top alternative Brighton wedding venues. Loking forward to more Fabrica Weddings in the future 🙂

Congratulations Grace and John! And well done for planning an incredible wedding. Here are a few bits of gold from the happy couple:

What was the highlight of your Fabrica Wedding and why?

The highlight of the day for us was the speeches. It was such a great opportunity to say how we felt and they were both emotional and funny and got a great reaction from everyone!

What made you choose Fabrica as your Brighton wedding venue?

We knew we wanted to get married in Brighton right from the start; it’s where I (Grace) feel at home. We choose Fabrica as the wedding venue because it has lots of character and we also liked that it meant we were supporting a local arts venue.

What made you choose the details, outfits and accessories? What’s you favourite bit about them?

We were pretty laid back about this side of things! But we really liked the dried flower bouquets and buttonholes as they were quite unusual and we’ve been able to keep them.

Did you had anything special planned for the guests as entertainment?

We didn’t really have anything special planned, however the best man did an impromptu ‘poem’ that was very entertaining!

Do you have any comments about your photographer? What was it like working with Corina?

Working with Corina was brilliant. She worked incredibly hard on the day to capture every element of our wedding. Her photos are perfect because they’re not ‘perfect’; they’re in no way posed or forced. When we look at them we’re reminded of all the love and laughter we shared with our friends and family on the day. We feel extremely lucky to have found her. Not only is she a very talented photographer but she’s also an incredibly lovely person. She really made the effort to get to know us and find out what was important to us and what we wanted from our wedding photography. Thank you so much Corina; we can’t recommend you enough.
