Great Wedding Venue for couples looking for something a bit more different in Brighton
If you’re looking for a fun, different and colourful Brighton wedding venue, Patterns should be top of your list. Patterns provides a unique and affordable alternative to couples seeking something a bit more different to a traditional wedding venue. After photographing a few weddings there, I feel in love with the building, the original stained-glass windows and long terrazzo bar. Plus the location of the venue is ideal – close to the beach and town hall, feeling like you’re in the heart of Brighton without feeling crowded. I hope showcasing Patterns will show you why this is great choice for a cool Brighton wedding.
What makes Patterns different from other wedding venues?
Patterns is a great space close to the centre of Brighton. It has a industrial, colourful feel with a custom-built mirror dome and even a small stage area. You have freedom to decorate it as you please. The space is bright and open and leads onto your own private sea-view terrace, perfect for s drinks reception by the sea. And for party animals it’s great to know that the venue has one of the Brighton’s finest sound systems and a permanent photobooth available to use throughout the day.
What is the capacity of the venue?
Our capacity is 200 guests standing and 85 seated for a meal.
What is the cut off time?
Patterns can hire the Terrace and Upstairs Bar until 2AM Sunday – Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, we offer exclusive use until 12am.
What is the Starting From cost?
We charge a hire fee of £500-£850 depending on the day. In addition to the hire fee, there is also a minimum bar spend requirement. This varies between £3,500-£7500 depending on the date.
What other wedding services do you offer? (catering, planning, etc.)
The hire fee covers a dedicated wedding event coordinator and event manager on the day, all in house bar furniture and use of glassware, PA system, use of DJ equipment including CDJs and Vinyl decks, bar staff, exclusive access from 9am on the day and door staff if needed. In terms of catering, our flexible hire options allow you to pick and choose the individual elements that make up your day. You can opt for a drinks-only reception, some light catering or simply to provide your own. We work closely with a family catering business to create a set of menus that work beautifully within our space. From a three-course, a family-style sit down meal to bowl foods, sharing platters and BBQ options.
