Rustic, eco friendly and outdoorsy Patricks Barn Wedding in West Sussex
Beautiful humanist ceremony under a huge oak tree
Having just moved to Brighton last year, I was looking forward to seeing all the amazing wedding venues Brighton has to offer. So I was really happy when lovely Lesley asked me to second shoot a beautiful wedding with her at Patricks Barn in West Sussex, only 50 min drive from Brighton. I really enjoyed photographing alongside her this colourful and happy wedding. Please lets all ignore the fact that it’s taken me a year to blog this beauty 🙂
Katie and Chris had a beautiful outdoors ceremony under a huge 300+ oak tree that brought a sense of timeless adventure to the day. It was the first time I’ve witnessed a humanist wedding ceremony with mixing of colourful sands, and I loved the idea. It represented the two families coming together to witness and create something truly beautiful.
Patricks Barn is a great venue to have a relaxed barn wedding
Patricks Barn is really lovely and I would recommend this wedding venue to couples looking for a place with a natural, outdoors and rustic feel. They had vegetarian food provided by The Garden Chef and it was scrumptious. The DIY details and being surrounded by amazing greenery brought a lovely green and outdoorsy vibe together.
The wedding ceremony and the speeches were very emotional while the after party was such a blast. Don’t take my work for it, here are some photos from this amazing Patricks Barn Wedding. Many thanks Lesley for having me 🙂
